The New York State Partnership for Long Term Care is insurance coverage for long-term care, backed up by Medicaid Extended Coverage. The Medicaid back up allows you to protect your assets if your long term care needs go beyond the period covered by insurance.

Participation in this program is best for those New York residents who can’t afford the cost of long-term care, but can afford the cost of long-term care insurance.
